Rossi, Steven D. THE VILLAGES Fla. Steven D. Rossi, 85, The Villages, Fla., died Sunday, March 18, 2012. He was born in Albany, N.Y. He was a former superintendent at AlTech Steel and a member of American Legion Post #1540 in Half Moon, N.Y. He is survived by his wife Dorothy J. Rossi, The Villages; sons, Steven J. Rossi, Latham, N.Y. and Erik Rossi, Clifton Park, N.Y.; daughter Susan Rossi Dillon, Averill Park, N.Y.; three stepchildren, Cynthia French, Fairfax, Va.; Charles French, Ballston Lake, N.Y.; Darin French, Mechanicville, N.Y.; nine grandchildren, one great-grandson; former wife Joan V. Rossi, Cohoes, N.Y.; three brothers, David Rossi, Colonie, N.Y.; Samuel Rossi, Albany; Angelo Rossi, Natick, Mass.; sisters, Rosemary Seeberger, Colonie and Ruth Knapp, Albany. He was preceded in death by son Mark Rossi in 2002 and sister Rose Tedford. Inurnment with full military honors will take place in Saratoga National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
