Even though I never met Vivian face to face, I had many opportunities to connect with her through work, as I also work for SSA but a different branch. She was always ready, willing, and able to help me when I needed her expertise. I just found out today that she passed and it saddens me greatly. A lovely person who will be sorely missed!

My deepest heartfelt condolences to Viv's entire family. This news completely caught me off guard today. I knew Viv and her family since I was a little girl (Lisa, I know u remember) and she was several years older than me & she was a friend of my oldest brother's, and I always admired her from afar and how nothing or no one could hamper her or get in the way of her being & doing her. You were garanteed to be greeted with a smile and being called hun or honeybunch. We all loved her but God had different plan. It saddens me deeply to have read of Vivian's passing. Although I haven't seen Vivian since our days at Doyle Middle School and Troy High, I will always remember her smile. Vivian was a beautiful person, not only on the outside but on the inside as well. Truly a genuinely kind, caring, classy lady. May God's Blessings comfort her husband, children and family in your time of sorrow and may Vivian forever Rest In Peace.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Vivian was such a beautiful person both inside and out. I miss her sunny voice already. She was always so positive and fun to work with. I will always think of her, especially when I repeat one of her catch phrases "Hold the Mayo!!"

Viv, where do I begin? My heart is heavy, but I know that you are peace. What does Heaven look like? I am sure that everytime a new angel arrives, God adds another vibrant color that we on Earth will never get to see until we are with him. The sound of the music must sound like something we have never heard before. I will miss you saying, "Hi Ava", in your high pitched tone or your "Hiya Hun" I will miss your upbeat personality. I will miss you!!! Willie, my prayers are with you. Remembering 30+ years ago with you and Viv in our high school days at Troy High (she had a crush on you while we were in Doyle Middle School too...LOL). Her spirit lives on because when you think of her you can't help but smile.

She was the sweetest lady ever. She would come in to my job (Dunkin Donuts at the time) and she was so nice to me. Always polite and her smile warmed my heart. I then later learned that she was Latoya and Lisa's mom. She would always speak to me and was so positive. Simply a beautiful person, inside and out. Vivian was a great co worker and one of the classiest and kindest person I have known. She was a great credit to SSA and a great public servant. I feel that the world is a much poorer place without her, but I have no doubt she is in heaven now. My heart goes out to her family and friends in this very difficult time. Please know that all of us who worked with Vivian over her career at SSA are better for it and grateful to have known her.
