Wayne Cofrancesco Obituary

DELANSON Wayne Cofrancesco, 57, died Monday, June 14, 2004 at the Stratton VA Medical Center. Born in New Haven, Conn., he was the son of the late Anthony and Alice Tacanelli Cofrancesco. He had lived most of his life in the Capital District and served his country during the Vietnam War in the Air Force. He was an avid saxophone player, performing in numerous bands at many local clubs. Survivors include a brother, Craig Cofrancesco of Va.; a sister, Lynn Dobiel of Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are asked to call Frederick Jones at 785-5230 for details about the memorial service.

I remember Wayne when he worked at COARC about 17 years ago. We rode his motorcycle into work several times. He was great; I remember him fondly.
