Bill Bonacker was one of my greatest friends in life. I went fishing in the Great Lakes several times with Bill to fish for salmon. I would stay a night or two at Bills house and drive to Texas NY and go fishing on Lake Ontario. He had a nice boat and a whole bunch of fishing equipment. Like many Yankees he cursed a lot when he got upset. He called me Ned always. Bill is a very generous guy and I have trying yo get a hold of him for the past two years but with no avail. Now I know why he never returned my calls. I will miss you Bill. Maybe we shall go fishing in heaven one day. I love you Bill and will surely miss you.

To the Bonacker family;
I remember Bill from when he came to visit his Dad at Evergreen Commons. He was such a great guy, always with a "hi, how are ya?" Always doting on his Dad too. He will surely be missed by many.

Uncle Bill. That is what we called him. As true a family member as any blood relative could be. You truly were one of a kind and we loved you for it. We will always remember your kindness and generosity . The years of wonderful memories we share will help us through this difficult time. My heart hurts that I am not able to be there to say one last goodbye but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love from all the George women.
