William Fisk Obituary
SCHODACK - William B. Fisk, age 61, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023, in New York City.
He was the son of the late Robert and Edith (Persico) Fisk. After high school graduation, Bill went on to work as an oversized truck mechanic for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in Glenmont for almost 30 years.
Bill will be remembered as a very loving and caring husband and friend, with a sarcastic, but wonderful sense of humor. He was not afraid of hard work and enjoyed NASCAR races and his beloved pets. Bill will be greatly missed by his entire family whom he greatly adored.
William is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Laura Schindler Fisk. He was the son-in-law of June M. and the late Edward Schindler; and brother of Barbara (Rich) Hotaling, Robert (Deborah) Fisk Jr., Edward (Barbara) Schindler Jr., Eric (Peg) A. Schindler, Kurt (Cynthia) A. Schindler, and the late Jean (David) Schindler Cummings.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, May 25, from 4-7 p.m. at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 26, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Greenbush.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Bill for many years and had him for a good friend personally. There was no one who didn´t like Bill. His dry sense of humor and big heart will be terribly missed.
