Thinking about you. I am going to lay in bed, order some food and watch Girls like we used to when you would call me late at night needing a friend to help you through dark moments.

I can´t help but think if I were not in the hospital during your darkest, I would still be able to come by and we would work on furniture or terrariums. Laugh about how super picky you were and try to help you choose the best shade out of 20 shades of white. I will always cherish the time we had.

Allison, I still wish you could come over and we could do anything. Work on furniture, talk and laugh, go eat Thai, propagate some African violets, make some terrariums, look at the difference between a million shades of white, sit in bed eating pizza watching “Girls” with Curry. I miss you so much.

I still think about you daily. I tell people good stories of the times we had. Everytime I hear someone going to get a diet coke I think of our talks while we walked to go get you one. I miss talking to you. . You were my best friend and I have not had anyone that I can talk to a deep and openly since you left. You were so special. I wish you knew how much. I miss you so much

Tomorrow would be your 46th birthday. I still remember laughing so hard that we snorted, snorted so more and then more after that. You were loved in life and missed very much.

When we first moved to Jacksonville, we met Allison through her work at Learn to Read. We spent a lot of time together and enjoyed some great adventures, including road trips to Asheville - a city she dearly loved - and to South Florida. Always smiling, Allison was a joy to be around. A great friend, she invited us into her family celebrations and threw me a baby shower when I was pregnant with my first son. She made being new to Jacksonville much more bearable.

While we drifted apart over time, we often wondered how Allison was doing and reminisced of the fun times we had together. Her passing has greatly saddened us, as I'm sure it has for her many friends.

Her family is in our prayers during this time.

I liked Allison a great deal. We had some really funny times together at Stetson University. I lost track of her over time but that is how getting older works. My sympathies and prayers are being sent to the family.

Dearest Jackie,
I am praying for you as you grieve the loss of your beautiful daughter.

O God, whose beloved Son took children into his arms and
blessed them: Give us grace to entrust Allison to your never-
failing care and love, and bring us all to your heavenly
kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and
reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for
ever. Amen.

May the peace which passes all understanding be with you, now and forever. I love you.
