ANTHONY CALABRESE

CALABRESE Anthony J. Calabrese, 84, of Ocean, New Jersey passed away on August 27th, 2012 due to complications arising from Alzheimer s disease. He was born to the late Dominick and Mary Calabrese in Brooklyn, New York on February 10, 1929. Anthony received a graduate degree from St. John s University and master s degree from NYU. He was in the US Marine Corp from 1951-1953 where he served in the Korean War. He married Florence Kelleher in 1952. Anthony began his 37 year long successful career at Exxon which took him and his family across the world living in England, Greece and El Salvador. He retired in Miami in 1986, eventually relocated to Jacksonville and most recently to New Jersey where he was well cared for by his family and the Alcoeur Gardens staff. Anthony is survived by his wife Florence, his three children Barbara Calabrese of Ocean, NJ, Tom Calabrese of Los Angeles, daughter Joanne Calabrese of San Francisco and granddaughter Lily Calabrese. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Bongarzone Funeral Home, 2400 Shafto Road, Tinton Falls, NJ on September 4, 2012. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
