Gramps, you will always be in my heart. As a child, I loved our pillow fights and listening to your Mr. Simon stories. My trip to India had a big impact on my life and opened my eyes to the wonders of travel and meeting other people and cultures. I am grateful for the many memories I have with you and my family, Cliff, Vinnie, and Joseph Blaise. Thanks so much for the beautiful holimy you gave at my wedding.
I have learned many things from you and adopted some of your traditions into my life. One of my favorites is giving someone an extra penny, when the money is given from the heart.
Love,
Jessie

He taught me important life lessons like patience and gratitude. I miss him very much but I know we will be united again someday. Thank you for everything Gramps!!!

I cherish the memories I have of my Gramps. I can still hear him signing to me, "I love Life and Life loves me!!" Before I was adopted my birthmother, Ronna Henderson, named me Zoe which means 'life' in Greek - so his song rings true in both senses. I miss him greatly, but I know I (we) will see him again.

To Lynda and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. It was a joy to meet Blaise at the different family functions for Lynda and her children. So wonderful he was able to marry and to be a part of his great grand children's lives as long as he was. So funny were his stories and what a wonderful personality he had. You all were so Blessed for so long. Sincerely, Jane Peck

Blaise Levai was an amazing man, an unusually gifted person who inspired others. As his oldest daughter, I was blessed by his unconditional love for me, my mom, my sisters, brother, and my family. Dad was always positive and encouraging .... so kind and gentle. I always felt LOVED in his presence. Memories of my childhood were filled with his love of life, his humor, and his compassion for all. Dad always believed in me (even when I didn't) ... he would encourage me to do my best. HIs love of travel, photography, and writing were gifts he gave me. He was an incredible dad, grandfather, and great grandfather who taught us all about life and love. Dad, I will cherish the memories forever. You will always live in my heart. LOLL

All who had the privilege to know this man were very lucky. I was more lucky than most. I was his son. He was the most kindest and loving father. He was a great Dad. There was no better place as a son than on a lake in a boat fishing with my Dad. Even if the fish weren't biting ... I'll always cherish those precious moments where we would talk about life. With the later years came the ups and downs of life ... but he was always there with the positive advice I needed. He loved my Mom and his four daughters more than they'll ever know. Thank-you for your entries. Our family appreciates your words of comfort. Like my Dad use to tell me ... Trust in God and he will strengthen your heart.

As a "distant" relative from the Northwest, I want to wish Blaise "travelling mercies" (his phrase) as he leaves this earth. Blaise was an inspiration, practised what he preached and I'm so grateful to have know him these past 25 years. Sending sincere condolences to Marian and all the family. Sylvia Korteling

"Blaise had the great gift of Compassion and Joy. None knew him but loved him. We all shall miss him greatly....but today he sings with the Angels. He would be the first to remind us that although he may have left us....Our Lord has not.
