Colleen Cassidy Obituary

CASSIDY Colleen C. Cassidy, 73, passed away peacefully, in the quiet of her home, on Thursday, March 26, 2009. At the time of her death, Colleen was surrounded by those who will miss her the very most: Jack, her beloved husband of 46 years, and her two daughters, Celinda A. Erickson and Cheryl C. O'Donnell. A private memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine's Catholic Church for Just the immediate family. Colleen was happiest when her family was together, especially during their annual summer trips to Hilton Head, S C, which won't be the same now without her. She prepared all year long for Christmas and her grandchildren's birthdays, and she always enjoyed giving to others more than receiving. Colleen's love of Glitz and Glamour began with TWA, where she was an airline hostess for 5 Ú years. For many years, Colleen and Jack raised their two daughters on the island of Guam. After 14 years in the Pacific, they moved to Orange Park, where they have lived happily since 1979. Colleen is survived by her loving husband, Jack Cassidy. Other survivors include her daughter, Celinda A. Erickson, her children Evan (10) and Elise (6) Erickson, and their father, Bradley E. Erickson. Also surviving is her daughter, Cheryl C. O'Donnell, her husband Dr. Robert J. O'Donnell and their two daughters, Kathleen (8) and Ryan Kerry O'Donnell(6). We simply won't be the same without her, but our faith reminds us that she is spending Eternity in peace and comfort, and for that, we"ll be forever grateful. I am so sorry to learn of Coleen's passing. We were to go to lunch after the holidays but because we were both ill, it never happened. Again, my heartfelt condolences to all. Lucy Lindstrom (friend from St. Catherine's Church).
