I was very sad to hear of the passing of Emanuel. I know he was considered a strong rock that contributed greatly to the foundation the entire Danese family could stand on. Doris Danese Card is my former mother-in-law & I have nice memories of providing music at many a family reunion liturgy. The Danese family will be in my prayers.

My maiden name was Ghioto, daugher of Ralph and Christine, granddaughter of Mary Losco and Harry Telfair Ghioto. My father, Ralph Ghioto, Sr., spoke of Emanuel with great fondness, having shared many childhood memories. My dad passed away Nov 7, 2004 and my mom on April 10, 2005; both at age 93. May they forever enjoy the fruits of their labors and rest in the peace of eternal life. How very proud we are of our heritage and those who have shown us faith and courage and instilled in us the importance of family.

We will miss Uncle Emmanuel. He was the standing "patriarch" of the Danese family, the one who was a servant to all the rest. There must be rejoicing in heaven as he is rejoined with his extended family. We grieve with you over his loss.

Another of our patriarchs enters the ranks of the great cloud of witnesses. What a rejoicing there must have been at his arrival! While it is true that we shall miss him, we can anticipate that he is there planning the biggest Danese family reunion in the universe! What a blessing from God it is to be a Danese descendant.

Uncle Emanuel was a wonderful man who taught everyone who met him little lessons in life. If we remember nothing else, we will all remember that family is the most important thing we have in life next to God himself. We wish we could be there to console all those left behind, but circumstances won't allow that at present. Even if we don't see each other soon at least it is a comfort to know that we will all be together one day and all the ills of the world that slowed us down or kept us apart will be gone. Our prayers are with all of you. Love, KaBeth & Greg Thomas & Sharon Taylor

I received the sad news of Uncle Manual's passing with great sorrow. Although I am his nephew through marriage to his neice Joan Rich, I have always been proud to call him "Uncle". I have always been impressed by his great inteligence, presense, and his devotion to God and his Catholic faith. I came to know him as the Patriarch or "God Father" figure of the Danese family, an overwhelming, benevolent and loving father. I will miss him, but I am asuaged by the knowledge that he has been welcomed to the Kngdom of God. May his soul rest in piece.

With sadness for not having met Emanuel personally, I wish to send our condolences to the family and our sincere appreciation for his work with the Florida Purchasing Agents Association. We are now called "NAPM - FFC" for "National Association of Purchasing Managers - Florida's First Coast" and, I am the current President. I can comfortably speak for the entire membership and board of directors when I say "Thank You" to this gentleman for his dedication to founding a respected professional organization that has stood the test of time and is still run by volunteers. Emanuel, I wish we had known you ....... www.napmffc.org

Mannie has been a good Civitan and friend for many years. He supported this civic group as long as he was able because he firmly believed in what the club stood for as expressed in it Creed.

It was my privilege to have Uncle Emanuel as my god father, as it was for others as well. My childhood memories are of a dashing patriarch of the family with whom I had this lucky and special connection. He was loved by all and will be missed by all. I regret that I cannot attend his funeral services.

My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family at this time of grief for the loss of your father.

Although it has now been more than a half-century ago, I still can remember third grade at Arlington Elementary. It was a long walk from Lone Star, and if your dad had not been taking you and your sister to school each morning, picking me and my sister up on the way, I am sure that we two would have many times arrived both tardy and tired. I appreciated that act of kindness then, and I still do.

May good memories soften your sorrow.
