To the Halford Children,
You don't know me personally, however, I knew your mother since the third grade and went all through junior and senior high school with your father. When your mother and I were about eighteen, she already loved your father. She would ask me often "what do you think?" I knew all three of you when you were little pre-schoolers. I am so sad that the world has lost two loving people who were so devoted to each other. My deepest sympathy to all of the family.

Oh my goodness Paula, Lynette and Scott, what a sad sad time for your family. First your Mom and now your Dad. Words cannot express how sorry I am to see this. I will never forget how kind your parents were to me always.I can see your Dad sitting in his chair, back to the window in the house off Lorna, watching football or reading the newspaper. Such a quiet, handsome man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Together again, rest in paradise.

Dear Family,
We have known Gene and your Mother since the days of our youth; and have many fond memories of them. For many years we lived out of the area, but kept in touch. They were and will always remain special to us.
We pray you will find comfort in knowing he is with your Mother and both are resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
