Billy and Misty:
Although I am unable to be there during your time of grief, please be sure to know that I am with you both in thoughts and prayers, and I share my deepest condolences with you and the rest of your (our) family. I know the pain of losing a mother unexpectedly, and I know that there are no words that can make this any easier for you. May you both receive blessed strength and understanding and know that without a doubt you have my love and support. Keep your heads up, have faith that you will be okay, and believe in your hearts that Helen is doing just fine with Our Father in Heaven!

To Billy, Misty and Janice ---
I wanted to express to each of you my sincere sympathy in the loss of your Mother and beloved Sister. Helen was a physically beautiful and outspoken woman who will be missed by her all who knew her. God had another plan for her life and although it pains us, we must accept His plan. Perhaps He needed someone to help Him keep order. (smile) Well, in that regard, He certainly could not have chosen a better person! Remember that Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. We will all miss Helen, but she is seated at the Right Hand of our Father in perfect peace. I love all of you.

Billy and Misty,
Your mother was a true and dear friend. I know she loved both of you and would want you two to be strong during this difficult time. I will miss her so much and especially our conversations. She always kept it real and that’s what I loved about her the most! Boy did she have a way with words and expressions. She was a tell it like it is woman and "didn't give a flying ham sandwich about it!"

My dearest brother, Billy:
My heart was saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. As I reflect back, I remember a woman who loved her family and enjoyed life. The one thing I have learned from Ms Helen is courage and strength. She did not fear anything and anybody. To be honest, I have not met anyone as outspoken as she. Most people only wish they could say what they feel and get away with it, but your mother had a talent for speaking her mind. So, we just braced ourselves for what was to come:-) Billy, I realize no bond is as great as that between a parent and a child. So, you will never get over this loss, but gain comfort in knowing that your mother has a love for you that is immeasurable. You were always her source of strength. Also know that you are loved by many. Although I have not lost a parent, I feel your pain, because you are a part of me. I am here for you and will be until I breathe my last breath. I am going to miss Ms. Helen’s infectious smile and laughter. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
To Misty, Janice and the rest of your family, my heart bleeds for you all. Rely on each other for comfort and persevere in prayer.
Love, Melissa
