Imogene Townsend Obituary

TOWNSEND Imogene M. Townsend, 73, of Jacksonville, Florida went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2012. A life-long resident of Jacksonville, Imogene was a charter member of Baymeadows Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles E. Townsend, Sr.; sons, Charles E. Townsend, Jr. Chuck (Nancy) and John Erick Townsend; step-son Kerry E. Townsend; two granddaughters; one grandson and two great-granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 13, 2012 in the Chapel of Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207, with Rev. Jerry Miller officiating. Entombment will immediately follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Imogene's honor may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
