Iris Singleton Obituary
SINGLETON Iris Singleton, 78, formerly of Jacksonville Beach, died March 16, 2004 in Fort Myers, Fl. She was born October 31, 1926 in Chester, Vermont & lived in Jacksonville Beach for over 20 years before moving to Fort Myers 2 years ago. She was a member of the Mayport Presbyterian Church for 57 years. Family members include her husband of 56 years, William Singleton; son, Daniel Eugene Singleton; sister, Pat (Ray) Parker; nieces, Judy King & Debora (David) White & their son, Parker White; sister-in-law, Rachel McCarty & many other nieces, nephews & cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 20th in the Chapel of the Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home with the Reverend Clyde Wray, officiating. Interment will follow in the Tillotson Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mayport Presbyterian Church, 1300 Palmer Street, Mayport, FL 32233.
