Joseph Pittman affectionately known as "Joe" passed away on January 25, 2021. He was born on March 17, 1944, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the proud father of 6 Children: Councilwoman Ju'Coby Pittman, Joseph Pittman, Jr., Latonia Artis, Tursicia Williams-Whitmore (Darnese), Shanika Love, and Latasha Bryant.
Arrangements entrusted to Carthage Chapel Funeral Home, 929 W. Beaver Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32204, (904) 354-0545. The viewing is scheduled for Friday, February 5th, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Riverside North, 2711 Edison Ave., Jacksonville, Florida and Funeral Services, Saturday, February 6th, 11:00 am at Riverside North, 2711 Edison Ave., Jacksonville, Florida. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only funeral attendance is limited.
