Bishop Desmond Tutu once said that, "You don't choose your family,they are God's gift to you, as you are to them." My dear and wonderful brother you were a gift to the family with your sense of humor mixed with your spiritual "Joe l on l parables." for being that spiritual mentor,uncle as well as God daddy for your nephew when his father died at 5 yrs. of age,and a big brother for me. I love you God Daddy! My memories are all good memories. You were more than an uncle to me. You are my God Daddy too!I always thought as a child you were the 'World's Strongest Man'. I had never seen someone so tall and with such huge feet! To this day I still feel that way. I will miss you so much. I love you!

I had the unique privilege of working with Mr. Joe for 2 years. He was a man of wisdom. I could count on a daily message from Mr. Joe. He would stand tall and lean his head to the side when delivering those precious gems. I really appreciated listening to Mr. Joe. I would usually initiate the conversation by asking--"What's the word for today?" May God continue to bless the family.
