I can't begin to describe what you meant to me throughout my life, your support and love enhanced what God had already stored upon me, I will forever be grateful that I was your "baby sister", you certainly was a "big brother"....Loving you always!!!

Bishop Desmond Tutu once said that, "You don't choose your family, they are God's gift to you, as you are to them." My dear and wonderful brother you were a gift to the family with your sense of humor mixed with your spiritual "Joe l on l parables." for being that spiritual mentor, uncle as well as God daddy for your nephew when his father died at 5 yrs. of age,and a big brother for me. You kept us laughing. I miss you now and forever. Good bye Josie Wales.
From "Sister Walker" as you called me, with love.

I love you God Daddy! My memories are all good memories. You were more than an uncle to me. You are my God Daddy too!I always thought as a child you were the 'World's Strongest Man'. I had never seen someone so tall and with such huge feet! To this day I still feel that way. I will miss you so much. I love you!

I had the unique privilege of working with Mr. Joe for 2 years. He was a man of wisdom. I could count on a daily message from Mr. Joe. He would stand tall and lean his head to the side when delivering those precious gems. I really appreciated listening to Mr. Joe. I would usually initiate the conversation by asking--"What's the word for today?" May God continue to bless the family.
