Leslie Anne Hill Adams - My Mom. So many things run through the mind of a son when he loses the one firm foundation that has always been there for him. For me, my mother was so many things - Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Best Friend, Teacher, Confidant and most all Trusted Advisor. Although the stubbornness of being a son sometimes got in the way - I can honestly say that Mom was usually right. Her wisdom was amazing.
I am comforted by my own spiritual beliefs that my mom, although taken from her life on earth too soon, is at peace now and finally reunited with her Mom and Dad - granny and grandpa.
I am grateful to all those who were friends and provided fullfilment in her life in so many different ways. She loved so many wonderful people.
Mom, if you can some how hear these words as I think them to type - I love you, I will always honor your ways and your life and know that you are missed so much.

Leslie was Annie Oakley, Betsy Ross and Martha Stewart wrapped into one. She loved her country. She loved people and things that were morally right and just, and she fought those that were not. She was a former beauty queen and fishing boat mate. She was a craftmaker, an advisor and a caregiver. She was respected, cheerful and a proud grandmother. She was a good friend and we will miss her dearly.
