Louis Farkas Obituary

FARKAS Louis Farkas, 84, of Ponte Vedra, FL, passed away Oct. 19, 2011. Originally from Fords, NJ, Lou was a well-known florist who owned his own business. His second career in Florida was for St. Johns County schools. Lou was a creative, gentle, and hardworking man who enjoyed watching horseracing and spending time with his family. Lou leaves behind his loving partner of 25 years, Anita OBrien; daughter, Barbara Periano; stepdaughters, Donna Pisacano (George) and Denise Huntze (James); four loving grandchildren, Andrew and Zachary Pisacano, Katie and Jamie Huntze; and 4 brothers. His first wife, Fran, predeceased Lou in death. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, October 27, 2011 in St. Pauls Catholic Church of Jacksonville Beach with Reverend William Kelly as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Lous name to the American Diabetes Assoc of Jacksonville-8384 Baymeadows Rd., Ste. 10-Jacksonville, FL 32256. Lance and I just found out about Louie. We are so very sorry Anita for you and your family and Louie's family. We remember many happy times together at the flea mkt. He was such a nice man. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Ms.Anita,
I am sorry for your loss..You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time..Louie was a very sweet and caring person..I enjoyed taking care of him while he was at McGraw!!! He will be greatly missed..God has himself another angel...God Bless you and your family!!!
