Sorry for your loss, I was searching on line for Moses Payne, who was my Capt. At Fort Sheridan, Ill in 1964-65. If this is him he was a good commander.

Our family has been so blessed to get to know Moses these past few years. He was a great man, always smiling, with a listening ear, quick wit, and new perspective on any topic. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers and condolences to you all. Take comfort in knowing that we will all meet again on the other side of the River. Payne will always be after the early morning worship at Shiloh, he would stop by and pick up that morning message on CD, I always made sure I had one ready for him because I knew he was stopped by and see at the Media Counter. Thank you Lord for blessing with us a great gift of this man of God.
