Louise and Gary,

My deepest sympathies on the passing of Perkins. He was an incredible person and I truly enjoyed getting to know him as we worked together at Empire Printing. In fact, Perkins was very proud of the fact he designed my first business card. He was a true gentleman, always kind spirited and generous with his knowledge and skills. He taught me much about the printing industry. I will keep him and you in my prayers.

Dear Mrs. Bowers:
I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Perkins for many years while serving in Boy Scout Troop # 31 of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a man of honor, integrity and just a kind and gentle person. I was in the scouts with his son Jimmy for several years and came to know Perkins during that time.
I wish to express my deepest and heartfelt sympathy to you, Jimmy and your entire family.
Perkins was one of a kind and will be missed by many. I know he will continue to bring happiness to others in the place we all hope to go some day.
Sincerely,
Donald Marx

I have fond memories of visiting Aunt Louise and Uncle Perk at the lake. When I think of Perk, I immediately picture him smiling. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. His warmth and enthusiasm were contagious. To me, he was an example of how to embrace life and make it great for yourself and those you love.
