Hi Petie,
It's been over 4 years and I just don't know where that time has gone. You are with me every single day in everything I do. I see or hear certain things and you immediately are there, with me. I miss you so. I don't want you to think I have forgotten you or ever will. You took a piece of my heart with you. I'm glad you have it. Whenever you hold it in your hand, that is me hugging you. Hi M, I am not quite sure who you are but thank you for thinking of me. I planned on coming here today or tomorrow to write to Peter and let him know how I am and that he is still with me every single day. It's been over a year now and the hurt doesn't lessen; it turns into a dull ache that stays with you.

Hi Baby,
I just renewed your Guest Book for another year as I want to add more pictures. As soon as I can, I will pay for it to be online forever so that I can always come here and let you know that I have not forgotten you nor will I ever. I miss you so much that somedays I feel like my heart is going to just jump out of my chest. I do not know what to do without you. I feel so alone and all I want to do is talk to you; I want to see your face; I want to hear one of your crazy sayings. If I could trade my life for yours, I would do so in a heart beat. I'd rather I have went than you because I lived already and you never even got the chance. I heard two songs today that were played at your Memorial Service: one while getting my hair cut and I broke down right there in the shop and one on the way home and cried so hard for you. Odessa cried for you the other day. She was in church and had to walk out because they played 'I Can Only Imagine.' Do you know how much she misses her Uncle Peter? She talks about you all the time and even put one of your favorite songs on her phone as her ring tone.
Peter, I miss you, I love, and I still cannot believe you are gone. Know you are in my heart and mind every waking moment I have.

I recieved a picture in the mail of you taken around this time last year. I was happy, SO HAPPY, to see your smiling face again. I hope you know how much I miss you and love you... it's BUSY SEASON for us "Fo-Real" Banquet Servers again. Big Loot... but, I don't think I can do it this year without you. This might be the first Holiday Season (in about 10 years) that I won't be serving. Hi Petie,

You know I always called you that. I had a birthday the other day; I didn't even want to think about it because it was another day without you. I don't know where the seven months have gone to. Days for me just go by without me noticing anything in particular. I play the music you like and it keeps you close. I went shopping the other day and bought your favorite candles. Who will walk around Yankee candle with me now? Who will go to a movie with me when I don't want to go alone. Odessa has never forgotten that you went to Charlie and The Chocolate factory with us. She misses you too and talks about you often. Peter, I wish you could come home. I don't know how to deal with you not being here. I know you and I had our moments but you are my baby and I love you; I always have. I miss you so, some days I feel I cannot breathe. Where do I go from here? I hope you are happy and at peace. I hope the sun is shining on your beautiful face and there is beauty all around you.

You don't know me, but I wanted to let you know that I am so sorry for the loss of your son, Pete. I saw it on the local news when it happened, but wanted to wait a couple of months before I wrote you. I, too, lost my son in 2001 at the age of 17 in a lawnmower accident. It was and is the worst feeling in the world to lose your child. I pray that you will find peace and comfort in all the wondeful memories and good times you had with your son. As I looked at the pictures here, I can see that he enjoyed life and there are great memories to cherish forever.

I have set up a Foundation in my son's memory and would like to talk to you to see if there is anything I can do to help you.
