Richard Trasente Obituary

TRASENTE Richard "Rich" Trasente, 78, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2004. Born on May 9, 1926 in Johnetta, PA, he was retired from the City of Jacksonville and was a Korean War Veteran, serving his country in the United States Army. Mr. Trasente was a member of American Legion Post 129; the Neptune Beach Senior Center and Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. He loved to dance as well as eat sweets and is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Maude M. Trasente; sons, Alan D. Jones (Judy), Frank E. Jones (Tracy), David P. Jones (Kathleen) and Curtis J. Jones; daughter, Angela M. Trasente; brothers, Neil, John and Ron Trasente; sisters, Sandy Singletary and Betty Selph; four grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday (Tonight) at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 545 A1A N. Ponte Vedra Beach. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec ember 18, 2004 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Father Christopher S. Liguori as Celebrant. Wille, if it weren't for email I'd not have known about the passing of Rich. Thanks for letting me know. Remember that there's no more pain and suffering and that we'll all be together again one day. My prayers are with you and the kids in hopes that the emptiness will be filled with fond memories. Whether its sitting around laughing about the past or being alone and feeling a smile come to your face, Rich will live on in your hearts and lives until we see him again. May God give you peace of mind. I'm here if you need me.....day or night.
