Robert Lewis "Buddy" Sirmans

SIRMANS Robert “Buddy” Lewis Sirmans age 70 of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2006 at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. Buddy was born in Tifton, Georgia on October 12, 1935 to the late W. B. and Rebecca Roberts Sirmans. He moved to Baker County in 1979 from Jacksonville , Florida. He worked for 45 years as a meat cutter for Pantry Pride and Winn Dixie Supermarkets. He was a member of the UFCW International Local # 1625. Family members include his loving wife of 50 years Edith Sirmans of; three children: Debbie (Rusty) Williams, Robin Snyder and William Bill (Debbie) Sirmans; four sisters: Dorothy Godwin, Ruth Godwin (Moses), Evelyn Barden and Nell Hartley; 11 Grandchildren: 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday Aug. 29 2006 at Cornerstone Congregational Methodist Church with Pastor Mae White officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday Aug. 28, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Ferreira Chapel. The arrangements are under the care and direction of V. TODD FERREIRA FUNERAL SERVICES 250 N.
