In Loving Memory of a Brother ands a Friend.

To Marilyn, Children and Siblings and all Faimly Members. We must take this time to show geniune LOVE to one another for we see tomottow is not promise. I remember the days in HollyBrook Apartments with the Byrd family. I think it was Apartment 17 or 18. Those were the good ole days. No Byrd was not a perfect man but neither are we pefect people. If he Loved you , You knew it. He was not a pretender. Just remembering the good times we've shared. It was a blessing to see the changed take place in his life . As the preacher spoke at his celebration, The house was sanctified through his sanctified wife. His best friend and buddy Jaron even witness to his daddy about being prepared for the coming of the Lord. I still can't believe that this is real. Yes death is still a mystery to me. For his7 year old baby son to walk in the den to play with father and to tell his mother that his daddy is dead was very touching. Marilyn keep your head up, take with you the memories of the good and the bad times that God used you to encourage this man to make a change in his life. To all of his kids, get together and stay together for where there is unity, there is strength. A tribute to my Brother.
Seemed like only yesterday, that your laughter filled the air, There were times when I was going through, I saw you there, Heaven has become a little sweeter, just because you were there. I'll see you again, Where the son is always shining, I'll see you again, Where sorrows are no more, Where we'll join hands together and we'll be around the throne. Yes we will take with us the memories to bring our sunshine after this rain.

Love Always

To my cousins, the Byrd siblings, and their families: I wish there were words and actions that would take away your pain. Sadly, I know that there are none. Joyfully, I take comfort in the words penned by John in Revelation 21. I hope you will as well:

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

I love you. May God comfort and bless you all.

Love,
Sann

To my family,
My beloved cousins I send my deepest condolences to you that are here, I pray that the hand of God hold you close in your lost, Ronnie my big cousin I will truly miss him though the times we spent together were few but they were truly big when we did see each other, no one knew but There was a special love I had for Ronnie he was such a down to earth and real person that when I saw him he always put a smile on my face.
He will be greatly missed, just knowing he will not be here makes it hard to believe. To my cousins, the word of God says, weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. God knows everything and He is a God who makes no mistakes, He is to Wise and He is to just to do wrong, stay strong my family and know that God hears your every cry and He Shall wipe every tear from your eyes.
Just the memories we each have of Ronnie will let us know though he is gone from this earth but the memories we have with him will last forever.

Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. To my sister in law Marilyn, the children, the sisters, and brothers, God is to wise to make a mistake and to just to do wrong. May God keep you and His peace rest upon you. I know it will be hard without our big brother around, but always remember there is a God that sits high and He looks low. Heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool. There is nothing to hard for God. I know that as we live right on this side of the Jordan River we will see him again. He had faught a good fight and he finish his course. So I say to the family trust God lend on God and He will comfort your heart if you know Him and if you don't know Jesus, get to know Him.

1 Thess 4:13-17
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the work of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

To The Byrd Family my prayers are with you. Memories will bring tears of joy, tears of sadness, whatever the reason, it's ok to cry.

Marilyn I love you,

April 11, 2008

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Ronnie will be sorely missed. I as a cousin will always remember that deep down heart felt laughter and that he had a tremendous love for family. It hurts me deeply to know that he no longer walks this earth with us because this family has truly suffered a great loss, but in the same token it makes my heart rejoice to know that he could be in the presence of the Lord.To Marilyn my heart goes out to you, I can't even begin to phantom what you must be feeling, but just hold on to God's unchanging hand and he will guide you through, to the rest of my family the same apply and when these storm clouds blow over and the memories hang in the mist, I know that there will be a lot of laughter and smiles just at the mention of Ronnie's name, because Joy is what he bought whenever he came around. God Bless and rest in peace cousin Ronnie.
