Today our loving son would have been 29 years old. Again we put a memoriam in the times-union newspaper. We can never forget the great memories; they will live on and we are looking forward to a grand reunion one day.

My heart goes out to you and your family. My 16 year old son, Ross, was severly injured and nearly died when he was struck by a boat in July. But we were lucky. He was in a coma for 3 weeks and they had to remove a softball size piece of skull to let his brain swell. Now is now on the road to recovery and may get back to school in January. I can only imagine how you must feel and the depth of your pain.
From a professional point of view I can't tell you how much I miss Accmo Electric and you as our go to guys. It has made my job harder to not have your knowledge to access when I have a problem.
Anyway I just wanted to tell you that my son's accident has brought me a new perspective on what you family has gone through.

Today is Thanksgiving Day 2007 and we still miss our Dear Son Samuel so very much! We put an article in his great memory today (with pictures). His unspoken words will always be heard in our hearts forever. We can't wait to see you again. The most precious son anyone could have asked for; still missed so very much!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Day Angel Sam,
It has been a long time since I have visited you, hope you and my Sweet Harley are friends up there. The holidays are here and it is a very lonely time for myself and also your parent's and all that love you. When I lost my Harley a part of me died and I am also sure that your parent's feel the same way. I grieve for my son every minute of every day just as your parent's grieve for you, so please watch over them and let them feel your presence.

I am so sorry that I have not visited you in such a long time, life has been very rough and so hard to deal with.
Watch over your Family and let them feel your presence, this day like any other day is very hard on them.
We, as parent's are not supposed to outlive our children.

I am sorry for your loss. I was good friends with Sam for many years. I have shared many good memories with Sam in highschool and playing highschool baseball together. We still communicated some after highschool, but lost contact over the years. I am just now finding out about Sams passing. I will miss Sam. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that knew and loved Sam. He was a great guy and a good friend.

Hope you have met my son Harley up there, I know that you two will become friends and hang out with each other.
Please watch over your Momma and Family, let them feel your presence.
This is the most unbearable pain their is, losing a child.
When Harley passed away a part of me died with him, and I am sure this is how your Mother feels also.
It's just not normal to have to bury your child 1st. We as parent's never, ever expect to outlive our babies.
I'm always thinking of you Angel Sam, and I pray that your Family finds comfort.

I share your pain and heartache as I lost my son, Harley Walls on February 8, 2004 due to a car accident and he was 21.
The pain of losing your child leaves a hole in your heart and an emptiness that never goes away.
I myself will always wish that God would have taken me first as I have lived my life, Harley's like your Samuel's life was just beginning.
We as parent's never, ever expect to bury our child first.
I hope that Samuel and Harley have met up there and are friends, Harley was a good friend to many so I know him and Samuel are friends.

I really wish I had kept in touch with Sam over the past couple of years. I have so many fun memories of him beginning back in 1998. He was always so thoughtful and great to be around. He always had that same goofy smile on his face. I don't think I ever saw the guy frown. My heart goes out to his family and little Mikey. i lived across from Sam, on Ft. Caroline rd. for many years and watch sam mature into a grown man. He was a great person and had some of the best qualities that a man could have. I am sad to hear of what happened. Samuel was a great and close friend. He had gone to the prom with my sister, gone on many of surfing trips, camping, and many other occasions. Mr & Mrs McLaughlin, I am so terribly sorry to hear about Sam. I am Caleb's mom and Sam was always one of my favorite of Caleb's friends. He sat up with me all night one night when Caleb was in a car accident. He stayed with me until Caleb and my husband returned from the hospital. And always checked on me if he knew I was home alone. I will keep you and yours in my prayers. He was a truly kind person and will be greatly missed by many.
