Maggie, Charlie and Savannah,
As the days past and you return to your everyday routines, may you continue to feel the love and support of your family and friends. May God give you strength and peace each day. My son Caleb (who played with Mac some at CGCA while Anna and Savannah cheered) has a project due at school. The project is to research an olympic athlete and create a trading card on that person. Caleb asked me could he make one about Mac. I thought that was so sweet. He knew Mac had a dream to go to the olympics and swim. We love ya'll.

The SPIRIT of Mac will live on in each of us. He will hold a very special place in all of our hearts. It seems like just yesterday that he was having dinner with our family, then I found he and Alex sitting on the couch, not 10 minutes later, eating a big bowl of blueberries. Maggie, thank you for sharing your son with us. I loved Mac as one of my own. Charlie, Mac made a wonderful boyscout and Ryan enjoyed spending time with him at summer camp. I'll never forget Mac asking Mr. Horsey if he could go hunting on the Wildeness Survival Campout! Maggie-
Mac WILL live on with the ATAC swim team - Your Tallahassee Sisiters will make sure of that.
We are all here for you both and Savannah.
Love you dearly,

Margaret and Charlie,
I was floored when I saw Mac's picture he is a Barry through and through not only in his looks but with all he has accomplished in his time. I can not begin to even think I know of any words I could say that would take away any of the pain or give you any form of comfort . I do want ya'll to know we are praying for you and sending you thoughts of love and peace. I'll leave you with one verse that helped when Daddy died "I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, 'Do not fear; I will help you'" Isaiah 41:13 Call me if you need me I'm here.
