Some of my girls worked there. We were friends with their son and his wife and spent many hours sitting & visiting and, of course, trying out all their goodies! Clarence and Betty were always good to us. RIP Clarence.

Hi Della, I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember a lot of happy days spent at your home when I was a kid. Yours was the 'cool house' to hang out at ?? I remember his wonderful baked goods, his white bakery out fit and his smile...the smile always made me think he knew exactly what we kids might be up to lol. Take care and my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Clarence's passing. I have the fondest memories of his bakery back in the 60s in Wellsboro. My grandfather, Milton Brion married Clarence's mother Estella, and I have the best memories of Milt & Estella. My father was John Bryan, Milt's son. Estella could bake too! We would come from Williamsport in June to see the Laurel Festival activities, and on Saturday morning visit the bakery - oh, the wonderful smell. This is where my love for coconut cream pie began. RIP Clarence. Heaven certainly received an angel.

Heartfelt sympathy to the Baxter Family,
Clarence was "top notch", whether he be at the bakery or bowling on Wednesday mornings...always kind. Our hearts are heavy here on Earth...but, Heaven gained a "special angel" that will watch over all of us. The memories that Clarence has created for you..keep them alive! God give this family strength, to cope with their loss...
