ROBERT MAKIN Obituary
He was born on Nov. 5, 1930, in Wellsboro, a son of the late Ernest H. and Velma (Wood) Makin.
He was the husband of 59 years of Carol R. (Bell) Makin and owned Makin's Plumbing and Heating, Wellsboro, for over 50 years.
Bob was a member of the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Church, Wellsboro and enjoyed playing golf, traveling, fishing and going to their cottage on Keuka Lake. He served in the United States Army National Guard.
Bob is survived by his wife, Carol; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Warren Berg, Cassandra and Peter Boergermann, both of Wellsboro, brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Alma Makin of Wellsboro; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Calvin Mosher of Wellsboro; three granddaughters, Alyssa, Joy and Mikaela Boergerman; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., www.carletonfh.com, Wellsboro.
