I am so sorry. I just found out Rev. Reese died. He was our pastor in Nanticoke and he presented my diploma to me when I graduated. He was always very special to me and I was grateful to know him because of his kindness and his sense of humor and his faith. I remember he had a wonderful singing voice.

My sympathy to his family. He was quite a man. Rest in peace, Padre.

Our feelings are conflicted, we rejoice that bother Alvin is now with our Lord experiencing first hand the joys of heaven which he told others about so many years of his life but his passing leaves an empty spot in our hearts because we have lost a beloved brother and a friend.

I just loved Pastor Reese and his wife. The last two times I was able to visit Tamaqua I was so, so glad to be able to see him. He was just such a sweet, sweet man and I will miss him every time I am in Tamaqua. Even after he retired it always absolutely made my visit there by being able to see him.
