To the Fronheiser family..Although we have never met I knew Charlie from the Lehighton Boys Band. I joined it under the direction of Charles Fronheiser in 1955 and was in the drum section. One of our members went on in music and is well known. His name is Denny Seiwell. If I remember Charlie played the saxaphone. We did concerts, parades etc. Later in life he married and I had the privlidge to drive in his wedding with my dad's new Oldsmobile. He had a Ford Crown Victoria with duel exhausts and glass pack mufflers, a smart looking car and I think red and white. Later on I remet him while working at Sander Olds in Palmerton as he would come in to service our machines. After I left there I totally lost track of him but never forgot him. You have our heart felt sympathy. I was told his dad composed a march for the band many years ago and we played it in the park many years later when they had an alumni concert. After it was over I found Mrs Fronheiser {Florence}and gave her a hug and told her we played that for her and her husband. That was the last I ever saw of her. May God be with all of you and may he RIP.

My good friend Charlie, you will be sorely missed! I'll always remember our lunches, discussing our many shared interests. Also never forgotten were the many times you saved the day for us at Lehigh County while working at Pitney Bowes. It was during those times that we became friends, and it was a privilege to maintain that friendship with you long after you retired. Rest in peace, my friend. Rest in peace.

Charlie was a long time neighbor and friend of mine from when we were boys in Lehighton. It's funny how we ended up in the same neighborhood in Ironton. He will missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
