Mrs. Claire B. Miller, 73, of Jim Thorpe, passed away on Sunday, April 19, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Harvey Miller. They celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on Jan. 1.
She worked at many local factories in the area for 32 years before retiring.
Born in Hazelton, she was a daughter of the late Claire D. (Jordan) Quinn.
Surviving are two daughters, Antoinette Petko of Jim Thorpe and Laura (Yaich), wife of Bill Urban of Nesquehoning; four sons, Floyd Yaich, and his wife, Tonda, in Carson City, NV, Danny Yaich, and his wife, Susie, and Jim Yaich, and his wife, Angelique, both of Jim Thorpe, and Bill Yaich, and his wife, Jacqueline, of Bethlehem; two brothers, Jim Correll, and his wife, Arlene, of Weatherly, and Joe Quinn, and his wife, Connie of Jim Thorpe; a sister Kathy (Quinn), wife of Keith Remmel of Jim Thorpe; her dearly loved 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all.
Service: Funeral service 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, David J. Stianche Funeral Home, 123 Center St., Jim Thorpe. Interment, private. Call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
