Doris Eisenhauer Obituary
Doris A. Eisenhauer, 93, of Coplay, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31.
Born in Mt. Bethel, she was the wife of the late Donald W. Eisenhauer, who passed in 1979.
Doris was the daughter of the late Warren and Grace Kneebone, of Mt. Bethel.
Doris loved watching old time movies and enjoyed crossword puzzles and Wordle. She was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed watching Penn State football.
Doris was a homemaker for many years but did work various jobs throughout her life.
Surviving is her son, Kelly R. Eisenhauer and his wife, Karla I. Eisenhauer, of Lehighton; brother, Ralph Kneebone, of Mt. Bethel; brother-in-law, Glyn H. Eisenhauer and his wife Liz, of Shohola; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Wilson Kneebone, of Pen Argyl, who passed in 2016.
Service: A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at Schaeffer Funeral Home, 300 Alum St., Lehighton.
A committal service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Allentown. A calling will be held prior to the funeral service, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Schaeffer Funeral Home, Lehighton, has been entrusted with the arrangements, and online condolences may be made at schaefferfunerals.com.

Doris was a best friend of my sister, Pauline Kressler Hughes. Over the years they would meet when Pauline came to Bangor or came here to my house in East Stroudsburg. Those were always fun times for them both. They shared so many memories of Bangor and their high school years. The last time I saw her was when I picked her up for their class reunion. Pauline passed a few years ago. I often wondered what happened to Doris it was pleasant to know she lived a long and happy life.
