Edward Francis Haley III, of Lehighton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 17.
Born in Boston, MA, to Cora Logan and Edward Francis Haley II, he lived most of his life in Northeastern PA.
Ed was a passionate, kind and hard-working man.
He was a licensed massage therapist for over 30 years.
The deceased served our country with the U.S. Air Force Military Police during the Vietnam War.
In his spare time, he enjoyed being an avid survivalist, gardening, talking about politics and religion with friends and family, and spending quality time with his wife, family and close friends.
Ed was a selfless and incredibly loving family man. He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Mary Lou (Warner) Haley, to whom he was married for 39 years; a daughter Christa, wife of John Timko, and their three daughters, Lyla, Violet and Lucy; two stepsons, Curtis Mitchell, and his children, Courtney and Justin, and David Mitchell, and his wife, Deborah, and their son, Dorian Chrzaszcz; two great-granddaughters and many friends and clients.
Service: Memorial service 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28, Salem Bible Fellowship, Lehighton. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the church, 1105 Frederick's Grove Rd., Lehighton, PA 18235. Arrangements by Ovsak Funeral Home, Fourth and Iron streets, Lehighton.
