My Heart goes out to all of the kids and grandchildren . She will always be a treasure in our hearts , My Goodness I remember How she planted a Garden for her and the family plus one for the woodland pets . She and Bumper were the best . Bumper taught my daughter Lauren at age 12 how to drive a riding mower and Jamie was the cheerleader .

Momma Solomon was like a second mom to me, and many others. She loved unconditionally with that huge heart of hers. Her laugh was infectious and her sweet smile was contagious. May God´s peace be with the entire family as you all walk through this journey. She will be missed...but never, ever forgotten. And may the years of memories we were all blessed to have with Jamie bring joy to those who knew and loved her.

This note may be a bit long, but there is no other way to express how deeply we loved Jamie and how much we will miss her. This is to be expected after 60 years of sharing our lives. When Jamie started dating Bump we were also dating. We shared our teenage times-dances at the Y on Friday nights, spending time at Uncle Bill´s Lake, just enjoying being teenagers. Jamie and Bump got married when they were young. So did we. We shared the joys and tribulations of raising our families. We all matured. Jamie and Bump became active in the Jim Thorpe community. They were always helping and giving to others. Sam Miller Field was special to them. We are so proud of them. We shared the joy of our grandchildren. We celebrated birthdays and anniversaries. We cried when Bump passed away. We often called and spoke to Jamie on the phone. We were not going to let 1,700 miles of distance lessen our relationship. We talked to her just days before she passed on. She was, as always, upbeat, brave, and fearless. The hole in our hearts created when Bumper passed is now deeper and wider. But we are gladdened that Jamie is finally out of pain and at peace. Hopefully she is walking hand-in-hand with Bump again. Love you, Jamie.
