Jerome Hnat Obituary
Jerome J. Hnat, 67, of McAdoo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025.
Born and raised in Summit Hill, he was the son of the late Francis and Joe Hnat.
A graduate of Panther Valley High School, Class of 1976, Jerome dedicated much of his life to hard work as a longtime factory operator. Outside of work, he found joy in life's simple pleasures - golfing, fishing and playing basketball.
He also had a passion for mushroom picking and riding his motorcycle, but most importantly, cherished the time he spent with his son.
Jerome is survived by his beloved son, Zackery Hnat; his brothers, Joseph and David, and his sister, Elizabeth.
His sister, Francis, passed away in 2019.
His memory will be held dear by his family and friends, who will forever cherish his witty sense of humor and adventurous lifestyle.
Service: A funeral service to honor Jerome's life will be held on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. from the Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Summit Hill.
Calling hours are from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear of Jerome´s passing. I have known Jerome since we were young children and he always had a witty humor. He graduated in 1975 with me and was a great basketball player and golfer. He will be sadly missed, but he will remain in our fond memories. My condolences to your family.
