Jessup Cadden-James Obituary
Jessup E. "Jesse James" Cadden-James, 26, of Lehigh Township, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 3, 2023.
Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Colleen A. Cadden of Lehigh Township and Carl E. James Jr., married to Cathy (Strohl) James, of Parryville.
Jesse was a 2015 graduate of Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts and attended Houghton University as well as Northampton Community College.
He was currently employed at Kraus Home & Lawn Care in Quakertown, specializing in home and property maintenance.
A passion for music, Jesse was a talented musician and songwriter who loved to play guitar and keyboard. He was also a gifted athlete and enjoyed the game of golf and disc golf.
Jesse also loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking and camping.
He was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville, where he was involved in music ministry and coaching youth basketball.
Jesse was also a volunteer with First Tee – Lehigh Valley, a youth golf program.
Surviving in addition to his loving parents are a sister, Gabrielle Cadden-James, and paternal grandparents, Carl E. Sr. and Patricia (Jackson) James, all of Lehigh Township; aunts, uncles, many cousins and his beloved pet cat, Dwight.
He was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Michael E. and Ann (Kane) Cadden.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, April 10, Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mountain Dr., Cherryville. Interment, private. Call 9-11 a.m. Monday in the church. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Village of Moorestown – Bath. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be offered to First Tee - Lehigh Valley, 6034 Hamilton Blvd., No. 124, Allentown, 18106.

Colleen, Carl and Ellie-Jessie was like a son and brother to our family. We fondly remember those days when the kids played and enjoyed the outdoors together. He was in constant motion and made the girls' days always an adventure. Even though our paths separated over time we will always cherish the memories and times spent together.

With much sadness and a heavy heart I said good by to my second son Jesse today. Though he is gone physically his soul is at peace and his memories with remain with me forever. I´ll never forgot the after school milkshake runs, watching him and my son play basketball together at school and hearing him come over and play guitar. I could go on and on with memories and laughs he´s given me through out the years, I am eternally grateful that my best friend Colleen shared such a loving, happy soul with me.

Jesse was one of my first childhood best friends. For so many years he played a huge part of my life growing up. As time passed we drifted but he will always have a place in my heart.
