Kenneth Clinton 'Tony' Walck Jr.

Kenneth Clinton "Tony" Walck Jr. of Nesquehoning entered into eternal rest on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Miners Campus, Coaldale. He was the husband of Rose M. (Sniscak) Walck. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on July 1 of last year.

Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Kenneth C. Sr. and Bertha (Miller) Walck. He was employed as cell handler for Air Products in Hometown until his retirement in 2022. While at Air Products, he held the position of Union President.

He was also a self-employed electrician.

Tony was a former Mayor of Nesquehoning, serving from 2003-2013, and was a member of the former Nesquehoning Lions Club. He enjoyed his dedication and service to the community but most of all loved his time spent with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his widow are daughters, Sheree of Jim Thorpe and Michele, wife of Edward Miller of Weatherly; a son, Samuel Chodur, and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Nesquehoning; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Walck.
