Linda Leibenguth Obituary

Mrs. Linda F. Leibenguth

Mrs. Linda "Toots" F. Leibenguth, 81, of Slatington, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. She was the widow of Joseph Leibenguth, who died in 2003.

Prior to retiring, she was a sewing machine operator for Paris Neckwear and Seilers in Walnutport and Tama Manufacturing in McAdoo for many years.

Born on July 24, 1943, in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Arlington and Virginia (Blose) Andrews.

She was of Lutheran faith.

Toots loved camping with her family, trips to the casinos and her dogs and cats. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing.

She is survived by her sons, Corey, husband of Patty, and Jamie, husband of Maria; grandson, Jacob; stepgrandchildren, Nicolas, Jessica and Liane; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; brothers, Burtine Andrews, husband of Susie, and Dawson Andrews; sisters, Cindy Myers and Nina, wife of LaMar Lauer; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by brothers, Arlington Jr., Kim and Larry Andrews; and a sister, Ellen Strohl.

Viewing: A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, in the Schaeffer Funeral Home, 300 Alum St., Lehighton. Schaeffer Funeral Home, Lehighton, has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at schaefferfunerals.com.
