Mike was a great neighbor and friend. He helped any of us in any way he could. He treated my young daughter with such love and kindness and loved getting visits from " his little girlfriend, Sofia". Mike is truly one of a kind and my family has been blessed to know him and be a neighbor since 1997. He is already greatly missed!

Mike and I corresponded frequently during his tenure as ADF in Forest District #18. He was always available to help find a piece of equipment we needed to complete a project. You have my deepest sympathy. May God Bless his family with strength and admiration of the man Mike exemplified in life on earth.

Mr. Mazur was always there to say hi to me or to joke with when I came over with his son's during our highschool and college years. At the science fair Mr mazur tested out a hand grip machine and ended up having the strongest grip out of everyone who tried it. During a basketball ball game I had some of my teeth knocked out and he was the first and only person to come over to me to hold a paper towel against my mouth and care for me. The last time I saw Mr Mazur he put a huge smile on both of my daughters faces upon the first time meeting them and told them both they should play basketball or volleyball... they both now are in basketball. You will be missed.
