Patsy Parry Obituary
Patsy A. Parry, 76, of Nesquehoning, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, in her residence. She was the widow of Gerald C. Parry.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Schwartz) Kovacs.
Patsy worked for the Family Prescription Pharmacy, Easton, and was a transporter for the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.
Patsy loved to bake, cook and clean. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Stephen Shafer and his wife, Allison; daughter, Jerilynn Derhammer and her husband, Chris; sister, Genie Boyd; grandchildren, Cassandra Shafer and Trent Derhammer; and great-grandchildren, Julius Brown and Nolan Kaszytski.
Services: A viewing will be held from 10 a.m.-noon Monday, Nov. 4, at the Connell Funeral, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by a service at noon in the funeral home. Interment, Nisky Hill Cemetery, Bethlehem. Contributions in her name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 30 S. 17th St., No. 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103. I had the pleasure of knowing Patsy at Gnaden Hutten Hosp when she was my relief transporter on my days off she was a real sweetheart, very quiet and a good sense of humor. So sorry for your loss.
