Robert Boyer Obituary

Robert M. "Bob" Boyer, 71 of 101 S. First St., Lehighton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, in the Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Weatherly.
He retired from the Coca-Cola Company, where he was a salesman for many years.
Born in Weissport, he was a son of the late Theodore C. Boyer Sr. and Idella S. (Eichgasser) Boyer.
He was a 1960 graduate of Lehighton Area High School, where he was an excellent athlete in the sports he participated in.
Boyer was a member of the Teamsters Union and Jacob's United Church of Christ, Weissport.
Surviving are two sisters, Nancy, wife of the Rev. Robert Kitchen of Mt. Wolf, and Sandy, wife of Wallace Putkowski of Lehighton; and two brothers, Theodore C. Jr., and his wife, Doris, of Omaha, Neb., and Keith "Jake" of Weissport.
Service: Funeral service at convenience of family. Contributions in his name may be made to the church, Franklin St., Weissport, PA 18235 Arrangements by Mayes-Melber Funeral Home, 200 Franklin St., Weissport.
