Andrea Lorraine Sutherland

Andrea Lorraine Sutherland, age 76, died peacefully on June 25, 2023, at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Annie was born on September 5, 1946 in Adrian, Michigan, the daughter of Wade and Colleen (Karr) Pifer. She married Aaron (Corky) Sutherland on August 31, 1998.

Annie graduated from Adrian High School in 1964. She was voted homecoming queen of the senior class. Upon graduation, she relocated to Toledo, Ohio where she became employed by Mancy's Restaurant for the next 19 years. While working full time, she obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing and administration. A tireless worker, she always strived to bring out the best in others and was a natural leader by example.

Besides her husband, Annie is survived by her children, Michael Drudzinski, John Sutherland and Anjie Johnson; sisters, Carole (Jerry) Helzer, Joanna (Keith) Brooks; brother, David (Kimberly) Pifer; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Colleen; and her daughter, Michelle Drudzinski.

Annie will be remembered by her radiant smile, humor, zest for life, love of family, and a commitment to the welfare of others. She loved traveling, bowling, motorcycle riding, spending time with friends and family and gardening around the yard. She would like to let her family and friends to know how much she loved them and that she lived a wonderful life that is meant to be celebrated not mourned. Those of us who were blessed to be touched by her realize the indelible imprint she forever left on our hearts.
