Ann Dorlay Obituary
Ann C. Dorlay, age 92, of Maumee, formerly of Sylvania, passed away on June 27, 2022, at Elizabeth Scott Community.
Ann was born on March 2, 1930, to Edward and Frances Callan in Melrose, MA. Ann was a graduate of Wakefield High School, in Wakefield, MA and the Katherine Gibbs School, in Boston, MA. Ann worked at Flower Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1993.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George and son, Mark. She very much anticipated their reunion in heaven. Surviving are children, Ann M., Wayne, Connie (Jeff), John (Gail), Beth (George); granddaughters, Lauren and Samantha, and her brother, John. Ann was also predeceased by her three sisters and three brothers.
Services will be held at St. Joseph Church, Sylvania, with a private burial.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Joseph Church, Sylvania, OH or Claire's Day, a reading program for children (http://www.clairesday.org/get-involved/).
The family of Ann would like to extend their gratitude to the Elizabeth Scott Community for their kind and compassionate care and friendship.

Ann was an amazing lady. I enjoyed every moment I spent with her. So blessed to have known her. To the Dorlay family, I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I pray you take comfort in knowing how faithful your Mother was and she is home with our Father in Heaven.

Ann's daughter, Beth, took such amazing care of her mother. We should all take a moment to learn such selfless care and love. I was so lucky to hear so many amazing stories about Ann and what a wonderful Mother she was. You are all in our thoughts.

Ann was the kindest person I have ever met. She was always so positive! She would always turn a bad day into a great day! I was Ann's nurse and I would leave her room with a smile all the way till the end. She touched many lives!
Ann loved hearing about and seeing my kids when I brought them in. Rest in heaven Ann! I love you more!!
