Ann Sadowski Obituary
Ann Marie Sadowski, age 60, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Friday morning, January 18, 2019, at the Elizabeth Scott Community in Maumee. She was born April 21, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio to Wayne and Florence "Sally" (Pilliod) Lenfestey. Ann was a 1976 graduate of Swanton High School. On July 14, 1979, she married Steve Sadowski.
Ann was an LPN at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center Pediatric Unit for 10 years and worked 28 years for Swanton Health Care & Retirement Center. She devoted many hours as a nurse and will be remembered for her strong work ethic, caring personality and her generosity towards others. When she wasn't working, she loved talking on the phone with family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 39 years, Steve; sons, Eric (Emily) Sadowski and Adam (Bridget) Sadowski; grandsons, Brock, Wyatt, and Nathan; granddaughter, Lauren; her mother, Florence "Sally" Lenfestey; siblings, Gary Lenfestey, Sandra (Kevin) Keogh, Steve Lenfestey, and Peggy (Mark) Green; mother-in-law, Dorothy Sadowski; sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Sadowski and Sandra (Ron) Dodge; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her son, Jordan Sadowski; father, Wayne Lenfestey; infant brother, Douglas; and father-in-law, Chester Sadowski.
In keeping with Ann's wishes, she will be cremated and services will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
