Barbara Mathers Obituary
Barbara Ellen
Barbara Ellen Mathers, age 68, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born on June 20, 1945, in Lawton, KY to Jesse and Grace (Binion) Haywood. Barb was a member of the VFW Post 2510 Women's Auxiliary, enjoyed reading and sewing, and most of all, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be forever missed.
Surviving are her children, Christine (Kevin) Rahe, Shannon (Christopher) Jensen, and Michael (Kim) Kelly Jr.; grandchildren, Amanda, Travis and Jacob Rahe, Samantha and Danielle Jensen, and William Kelly; sister, Mary Ann (Herbert) Hurley, and brother, James (Hattie) Haywood. Barb was preceded in death by her
parents and several siblings.
Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday beginning at 10 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. in the
funeral home. Interment will be private. Contributions in Barb's memory may be made to the VFW Post 1945, or Solomon Lutheran School in Woodville. To leave online expressions of sympathy for the family please visit
