Barbara Paisie Obituary

Barbara J. Paisie

Barbara J. Paisie, age 89, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, at the Meadows of Leipsic. She was born on October 10, 1936, to Henry and Madeline Rhoads, in Toledo, Ohio.

Barbara worked for the McDonald Corporation for 30 years. After moving to Napoleon, she worked as a school aid and 6 years for the Pharm. She was a talented cake decorator making many celebratory cakes for friends and family.

Barbara was a 50-year member of Trilby United Methodist Church, and after moving to Napoleon, attended McClure United Methodist Church.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Robert; and a grandson, Nathan Paisie. She is survived by a daughter, Victoria (Rick) Barteck; a son, Robert (Cherie) Paisie; 3 granddaughters, Jennifer (Craig) Laubenthal, Katelyn (Brad) Gerding and Taylor Paisie; 5 great-grandchildren, William Laubenthal, Claire, Emma, Grace and Duke Gerding; and sister, Marilyn Ulrich.

The family would like to thank all of Barbara's care givers, especially the Meadows of Leipsic.

Friends will be received on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Services at 11:00 a.m., at the Mausoleum at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo. Burial will follow.

Memorial contributions can be made to the donors choice.
