Barry Harrison Obituary
Barry Earl Harrison age 77 of Oregon completed his earthly journey on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Barry was born to Earl H. and Betty Jane (Ames) Harrison on April 13, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio. Barry was a 1963 graduate of Clay High School and went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Sharon Crandall, in 1967. After serving, Barry returned home to work alongside his father in their family business, Harrison Floors. He succeeded his father in 1994 until his retirement in 2012. Harrison Floors is now a 3rd generation family business ran by his sons, Brenton and Matthew. Barry loved Jesus and shared his faith at every opportunity. He enjoyed going to church with Sharon, camping with family, fishing, and golfing.
Barry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Sharon; children, Brenton (Andrea) Harrison, Nicole (Ryan) Clark, and Matthew (Shelly) Harrison; grandchildren Celene (Ben) Hahn, Samuel (Emily) Harrison, Reagan Clark, and Rylee Clark; great-grandchildren Rory, Noelle, and two babies on the way, Nora and Annie; sisters, Patricia Raider, Judi (James) Mahaney, and Debi (Fred) Brett; along with many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd Oregon, Ohio on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 3 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Wounded Warriors.
