Bernice Brown Obituary
Bernice Brown entered this world on June 11, 1931, and peacefully departed this life on July 31, 2025. She dedicated her life to caring for others through her work at Maumee Valley Hospital and the Toledo Mental Health Center, where she served faithfully for 47 years before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Henry and Mary Townsend; her devoted husband, Richard O. Brown, Sr.; and her beloved son, Elder Richard O. Brown, Jr.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at Dale-Riggs Funeral Home.
The Wake will take place on Saturday, August 16, at 10:00 a.m., immediately followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m., at Perfecting Church. Interment, Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
