Brian SULEWSKI Obituary

SULEWSKI Brian D. Brian D. Sulewski, age 54, passed away at home on Monday, July 12, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 22, 1955, to Ralph and Beatrice (Henne) Sulewski in Toledo. After graduating from Woodward High School, Brian worked as a millwright at Jeep for 36 years, a job he truly enjoyed - often working 7 days a week. A quiet man, he enjoyed vacationing in the Hocking Hills with his family. Brian was an avid bowler and a devoted Detroit Lions fan. He loved playing with his grandchildren and his canine companion, Toto. His favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed. Brian is survived by the love of his life - Juliann his wife of 36 years; children, Amy (Mark) Gaines, Crystal (Mike) McCoy, Brian (Brandy) Sulewski and Julia (Andy) Sulewski. Also mourning Brian's passing are six grandchildren, Chelsey, Chance, Jolynn, Grant, Madison and Sebastian; mother, Beatrice Sulewski; sister, Sue (Mike) Yakir and brothers, James (Caroline) Sulewski and Jeffrey (Janet) Sulewski; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Sulewski. Friends and family may call at the Urbanski Funeral Home 2907 LaGrange at Dexter Street (419) 244-4611 on Thursday from 2 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Friday with Fr. Joseph Poggemeyer officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio with special thanks to his nurse Lisa. It's been thirty something years since I last talked to Brian but it seems like yesterday. I went to grade school and high school with him and was a good friend to his cousin, Lorrie. Brian and I shared special moments that I'll always remember. I'm glad that he had a wonderful family who loved him so much and was with him at time of need. May the Lord comfort and help you through this painful time.

So sorry to hear about my cousin Brian whom I did not see since we were kids. As we are the same age, I feel deeply for the family but am glad he had so many children and grandchildren to love. May the memories of Brian hold strong in their hearts. With Love, Jill Henne (Sonday) Zerbe

It has been along time since the halls of St. Mary's. I was very happy to read Brian enjoyed every moment of his life and was surrounded by people who he loved and loved him. So many smiles and laughs from days long forgotten and yet fondly remembered. My prayers are with Brian's family and friends as they celebrate Brian's life and know in their hearts that he is now at peace.
