Bruce C. Sr.

Bruce Cerdan Mitchell, Sr. was born October 2, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Carl E. Mitchell, Sr. and Gladys Lee (Sherman) Mitchell. He departed this life on December 26, 2012. He was the pastor of Bibleway World Outreach Ministries.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Karen Renee (Earley) Mitchell of Toledo, Ohio; children, three sons, Bruce C. Jr. (Angela) Mitchell, Toledo, Christopher (Gilda) Mitchell Perrysburg, Donnell Mitchell, Oklahoma; one daughter, Lakeisha (Eugene) Patridge, Cincinnati; adopted daughter, Latonia Lyons, Cincinnati; mother, Gladys Mitchell, Toledo; two brothers, Carl (Barbara) Mitchell, Toledo, Thomas (Vester) Mitchell, Texas, Cynthia (Jeffery) Clint, Denver, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Mitchell, Sr.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013, at The Armory Church, 3319 Nebraska Ave. from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Wake services will be at 10:00 a.m. and Homegoing Service from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The House of Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

We lost a beautiful person with a loving spirit. Pastor Mitchell always made a point to speak to me when he came into the bank. Having known Pastor Mitchell down through the years since 1982 I thank the Lord for knowing such a humble anointed man of God.
